These are some sample posts from past RPGs:
Ved awoke with a start, but didn't react quickly. The soreness in his head made him sluggish and slow. Gathering what coordination and effort he could muster, he slowly shifted about. The after effects that gripped him weren't wrenching, but he felt detached from any specific state. Gradually, thoughts filtered into his mind. At first they only dripped into his subconscious. As his mind opened, more cognitive responses flooded in to fill the gap that had been left by his piercing headache.
He was alive. Right away, that thought offered him some relief. He could feel something real. However, as the notion broadened, the thought dimmed with the dissapointing realization that he was not well. He remembered everything now. The guard, the zapper, the shot. His mind made a silent shudder as he replayed the sequence in his thoughts. No sooner had the thought ended then, with an urgent motion, forced his eyes to flutter open.
He was in a room. It was light. He couldn't distinguish any source of the bright luminescence that assaulted his eyes. He grunted painfully as he forced himself onto his elbows. He squinted as he surveyed the area around him more carefully.
His eyes picked up almost nothing in the pale light. The room looked fairly barren. The only thing he was sure of was that he was strapped down into a chair. Yet as he looked as his own body, he couldn't see anything holding him down. Angrilly, he began to weakly thrash around, hoping to free himself.
